Derby Day is Always a Sure Win

Call it what you like—“The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports” or “The Fastest Two Minutes in Sports”; either way, it’s a fun time!! When you think of the Kentucky Derby, what comes to mind? Fast horses? The ladies and those awesome hats? Mint Juleps? Seersucker? A Dan Fogelberg song? How about all of the above?

At Derby Day at The Stables, it’s so much fun to see all of the ladies (and sometimes the guys) in their colorful hats and the way that the guys can be so dapper in their seersucker or other creative attire.  Of course, we’ll have music, a few finger foods and drinks, and we’ll raise some money for Children’s Harbor. Place your wagers on your favorites, and half of the total pot could be yours—so bring some real money (CASH)!

Post time is scheduled for around 6pm, but Derby history always has the start running a tad late. On-time or late, we’ll gather around the big screens for thundering hooves and to cheer on our favorite racehorse! There are some great prizes for the way you’re dressed and the luck of the draw!
