Two new lake neighborhoods provide attractive ownership options

The date is above is not a typo. Developers on Lake Martin have been busy this summer getting ready for next summer! Two new developments were introduced this past summer for those looking to get something for next summer. One, The Willows of Willow Point, is an addition by Russell Lands to the Willow Point community. The other, White Oak Landing, which is being developed by Canvasback Management, LLC, is adjacent to River Oaks. The two developments provide different — but exciting — opportunities for single-family waterfront property ownership.

The Willows of Willow Point

The Willows, an addition to Willow Point, is ideal for those seeking an estate-size lakefront homesite to build a custom lake home. The Willows was introduced to the market in late July, and nine sites quickly sold to those looking to build a custom lake home. In addition to those nine new projects, Classic Homes and Lake Martin Signature Homes are building two “for sale” lake homes that will be finished in the summer of 2019.

The Willows is located on the north side of the Pitchford Hollow cove. The southern shore of this cove is the location of the nearly complete Willow Glynn at Willow Point. White Oak provides a “turn-key” lake cottage collection in a very convenient location, just 75 minutes from Birmingham and 35 minutes from Auburn. Since it is on the north side of the lake, your lake-area dining options span the lake, Auburn, Dadeville and Alexander City. White Oak also has Alexander City municipal services, plus easy access to marinas, shopping, golf and medical facilities.

The best part about White Oak Landing is that it offers a total package price point in the low-$500s to mid-$700s depending on lot selection and house plan choice. Like The Willows, homes are underway that will be finished next summer.

Perhaps of greatest interest, the developer has announced that they plan to finish six lake homes in time for summer of 2019. It is easy to make this work. Property owners just need to select lot, plans and décor by mid-October. The process is easy, too. The builder/developer has already created a collection of lake home designs.
