Celebrate the Great Outdoors at Alabama’s Premier Wildlife Arts Festival

Published: 10.26.2023

The second annual Wetumpka Wildlife Arts Festival (WEWA) will be taking place in downtown Wetumpka on Saturday, November 11 from 10am to 4pm. Like Russell Lands’ historic commitment to the sustainability of Alabama’s natural resources, WEWA invites attendees to celebrate the native flora and fauna of the Southeast, as well as the art and craftsmanship it inspires.

Whether you are an art admirer, nature lover or field sport enthusiast, you’ll enjoy the day-long festival which includes the highly anticipated Dock Dogs, sporting dog demos by Wildrose Kennels, workshops, and demos by well-known artisans like Chef Chris Hastings and Redmont Distilling Co. Art exhibits and vendors, food trucks, musicians and other activities will also be at the festival, with a months-long exhibition leading up to the event. Russell Lands is a proud sponsor of WEWA.
